A functioning model of Apple’s first computer, Apple 1 has been sold at an auction in Germany for 516,000 euros ($668,000). It was sold to an ‘asian client’ who wants to stay anonymous. Apple 1 was built by Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak in their garage where they started Apple Computers. The computer has Wozniak’s signature and also includes an old business transaction letter from Jobs. Apple 1 was originally sold for $666 in 1976 which only consisted of the circuit board, and the enclosure, keyboard and screen had to be bought separately.
