Tim Cook hints that existing Mac product line will be manufactured in USA

Tim Cook will be going to Washington, DC on May 21st to testify before a Senate committee examining Apple’s offshore cash hoard of around $100 billion, which the company doesn’t pay US taxes on. Cook gave a rare interview to Politico saying that he stands by the legality of Apple’s tax practices. Cook also provided few new details regarding Apple’s new hardware, specifically revealing that the new computer will be manufactured in the US and that it’s “a new version of a current Mac product”. If the rumors are true, this may be the new 2013 MacBook Air with Intel’s next-generation Haswell processor to be revealed at 2013 WWDC
