Ride sharing app, Lyft, launches its services in Boston

Earlier this week, Lyft, a peer-to-peer ride-sharing startup, announced that it has raised a massive $60 million funding led by Andreessen Horowitz. Lyft is already ready to expand its services to other metropolitan cities by launching in Boston today. Boston users will be able to use the ride-sharing service with their neighbors starting Saturday, June 1 at 9am. This is the first city for Lyft to expend in East Coast and now covers five markets altogether, including San Francisco, Los Angeles, Seattle and Chicago. Lyft is planning to aggressively expand its peer-to-peer ride services to more cities and even globally.
